The 2014 Babson Asia Entrepreneurship Forum was organized on November 1 at Babson College, a business school located in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Founded in 1919, the school centers its offering around entrepreneurship and offers bachelors and masters degrees. The theme of this year’s program was Inside & Outside the Black Box. The forum highlights the ways in which the world’s entrepreneurial community is shaping the future and has tasked itself with demonstrating how entrepreneurs on the front lines are “Owning the Future”.
Dr. V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai was invited to provide the keynote speech to the assembled student members of the Forum. Dr Ayyadurai during his speech covered various topics ranging from Entrepreneurship to Innovation. He shared with the students of what motivated him, of the support he had gotten from his family and teachers which led him to achieve extraordinary things at such young age. He also spoke about the military-academic-industrial triangle’s denial mode that innovation cannot happen outside this triangle so that they can continue receiving its funding out from the taxpayers. Dr. Ayyadurai also spoke about his current work relative to CytoSolve which can potentially revolutionize the pharmaceutical industries. In conclusion, Dr. Ayyadurai took questions from the audience.
