Dr. V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai has been featured in the documentary Poisoning Paradise directed by Keely Shaye Brosnan & Teresa Tico. The documentary has been awarded Best Documentary at 2017 Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. Dr. Shiva talks about how the Government and big industry manufacturing toxic pesticides and fertilizers and developers of GM seeds are colluding to make the idyllic island of Kau’ai a huge testing ground for their products, endangering the lives of inhabitants and destroying natural resources. The documentary shows how the inhabitants of the island are getting together to fight this challenge.
The documentary will be screened at the 2017 Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival at Los Angeles on February 17, 2017 at 8:00 pm PST. The venue is Regal Cinemas LA LIVE. We present you with the trailer of the documentary below.
