The Smoothie Recipe
To make this smoothie, you will need the following

  • a blender
  • ½ cup warm green tea
  • 15 almonds, soaked and blanched
  • 2 raw organic egg yolks
  • ¼ cup of frozen berries
  • 2 basil leaves
  • a pinch of turmeric
  • 10 raisins, soaked

Soak the raisins by pouring boiling water over them. After 15 minutes, drain. Soak and blanch the almonds by pouring boiling water over them. After one minute, drain and remove the skins from the almonds.

Pour the ½ cup of warm green tea into the blender. Add the 15 blanched almonds, the two organic egg yolks, the ¼ cup of frozen berries, the 2 basil leaves, a pinch of turmeric, and the 10 soaked raisins.  Blend until smooth as cream.

Makes one smoothie.
