Dr. VA Shiva Ayyadurai had a meeting with Puthiya Thalaimurai Foundation which is sponsored by SRM Group on Friday, July 6, 2013. Dr. Shiva, along with Puthiya Thalaimurai foundation have decided to further innovation among young students of Tamil Nadu, particularly those from the rural districts. They have decided to leverage a program run by Puthiya Thalaimurai called Veetukku Oru Vignyani (A Scientist in Every House) to identify ideas which could be transitioned to form start-ups.
The start-ups will be incubated by Innovation Corps, a movement founded by Dr. VA Shiva Ayyadurai for helping the development of innovation among high school students in inner cities and villages across the globe, with the support of local philanthropists, professionals and businesses. The stated principle of Innovation Corps is Innovation Any Time, Any Place By Any Body™.
