Dr. V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai will be participating in an interactive session on Innovation and Entrepreneurship with Young Indians on August 28, 2015 at The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata. Dr. Shiva’s message is that Indians have always been innovators and there is no reason for us to believe that we cannot be innovators now. We have a long history of innovation stretching back to more than five thousand years and have the likes of Aryabhata, Sushruta, Charaka, and later Ramanjuan and J.C. Bose to look up to as inspiration to innovate. We have been brainwashed by the British colonial empire that Indians cannot innovate but at best, be well paid workers, administrators and even CEOs. It is time we change that and look within ourselves for that spark of innovation. Innovation and Entrepreneurship go hand-in-hand. Having created an innovation, it is important to create a market for it. Dr. Shiva will be sharing his success as a serial entrepreneur over the years and how to make a mark as an entrepreneur.
